DRAUGR is weak.
Im an avid jet player since bf2 and have always loved to fly instead of walk, i was very excited for the new bomber we are getting only to find myself quite unsure on what their idea was. As of now ...

All the testing I did so far has been just vs bots on Co-Op. It is really crazy how the lock on on me was randomly so fast that it was like if it was a passive radar missile.
Just once I managed to juke the AA missile by doing a "Split - S" while the missile was still far away then using the afterburner to go with full speed towards the missile and that made the missile unable to follow.
In any case, I can only find one working loadout for the stealth bomber:
HE autocannon: It does decent damage to everything it hits and has a good splash for infantry
JDAM : Because it is the only secondary weapon that seems to do enough damage and is consistent enough.
The Kerosene bomb would have been interesting in breakthrough but thanks to DICE's "genius" we have no jets in Breakthrough.
The Ground Radar: This thing spots all the ground vehicles in my FoV, it definitely saves time looking for targets.
The Cloaking/optical camouflage is definitely not worth it vs the A.I. Maybe it is better vs players
The Jammer thing: Because it can give some survival chance vs an aware Wildcat.
I do not know how things will be vs human players
@UP_Hawxxeye In my experience, the ground radar has been incredibly buggy. Sometimes I can be staring at an enemy vehicle, flying towards it, borderline crash into it and it will not spot it, other times it will instantly spot everything on the entire map, which I guess is the way it's supposed to work. It can definitely be useful to get early warning about an enemy wildcat... If it works.
While I can see that bot servers are 20 ticks, I haven't noticed the infantry hitreg to be substantially worse (a bit maybe, but not that much) than in regular servers, which leads me to believe that this video is representative of doing the same thing in a 45hz server...
The rockets you don't see are ones that I miss entirely. As in, I did not omit any rocket hits (dusting or registered) when I cut the video.
They said they are looking into fixing various issues including the spawn bellow ground glitch and the fact that the Kerosene bomb has a much smaller blast than the visual and lacks any lasting fire damage over time.
They are also looking to see how to make the countermeasures less useless.
My input for the countermeasure part is that it is not the countermeasures that are the problem
The problem is that it is a STEALTH jet. When I looked up stingers and stealth in quorra, what I found was that "Most stealth designs feature both radar and thermal signature reduction." This can translate ingame to either longer lock on times on the stealth jet (which has synergy with the jammer countermeasure) or shorter lock on ranges on it.
