@CantGetRightSmells like more of Tom Henderson’s poppycock and balderdash to me.
Highly suspect the source given pending litigation that would need an out right admission such as this to succeed.
That said if it is true then further supports my statements concerning trying to use old games. In this narrative it’s the use of the Frostbite engine but the principle is the same.
And…
I was not privy to any beta and more specifically what players were telling them during that phase.
Again all sus to me…Edit:
is ok soon as I read the name I was lol Tom “horsefeathers” Henderson

i find it hilarious that EA somewhat blames Halo:Infinite as a contributor to why 2042 is bashed every step of the way.....
it couldn't possibly be all just their fault.... must be someone else to blame as well.... other then that not much to read beyond EA still unwilling to acknowledge 2042s issues beyond " we know its bad but look at Apex and FIFA" - OskooI_0074 years agoLegend
Sounds like EA is mostly blaming bugs for the game's failure, instead of design decisions such as huge maps with horrible infantry gameplay.
I can't believe they blamed Halo Infinite, lol.
Anyone know who Christian Crass is? I saw them mentioned in the article but I can't find any information about them on Google.
- LordVader6664 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@X-Sunslayer-X Yup totally delusional - they may as well blame Minecraft while they’re at it as that’s got a more destructible environment.

@CantGetRightThanks for the link very interesting, can a community manager confirm this to be correct or somewhat accurate? @PartWelsh
I do love seeing the copium at maximum strength. 3.6 roentgen....not great, not terrible.
- ST1GUS4 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@k1u73 I can confirm that concerns for the game were posted in the forums at both the technical play test and beta stages, nothing sus there 😉

Thoughts?
Maybe I posted this too hastily as this is by no other than Tom Henderson so take it with a grain of salt.
Well, there tends to be some truth if not spot on accuracy to the rumors he reports on from his sources, but this is different. These are direct quotes and he is speaking of this meeting as it had already happened. Now, is he making it up? .....I really, really doubt it but sure, it's possible. Although I don't see him sacrificing his credibility by doing that.
If this was just a rumor based on his nameless (for obvious reasons) sources, I would agree. ....but he typically prefaces those with a side note if what he is reporting on is not confirmed.

Other than the part where it states all player feedback was “ this is my battlefield” and “battlefield is back” etc.
Now if that was the case and the beta feedback was just that then that falls in line with why I suspect the game is disliked so much.
I have to wonder if Halo Infinite retained its user.cfg and to what extent mouse scripting has been contained as opposed to BF 2042’s approach.
At any rate the very player feedback during beta would explain any misconceptions from previous game player base.
However Tom Henderson has proven to be extremely non reliable by literally making up stories and the flags are every where in this one.
I know a lot of people, especially people working at EA, are annoyed by the guy, but a lot of his reach would go away if EA/DICE actually tried to show interest in this game. Months of silence and no bug fixes punctuated by occasional promises to communicate better in the future leave a pretty big void for people who bought the game and are wondering what went wrong, what is going on now, and what the future actually holds for the game. If they don't want Tom to fill that void, they could easily do something about it.
