The simple answer is that there is nothing they can do about the situation any more than they are doing now. The cheaters and the options for how to cheat are too many, so their actions are like a drop in the ocean.
The game companies don't need to sell cheats, but can live on the passive income they earn from these cheaters. If they were to ban in record time, then these customers are lost.
Roughly, give them the time that gives enough pleasure that they see the value of buying the game again.
Same as for you but the other way around.
Just ban so much that the cheaters do not become too numerous, so that you can endure another day, and at best press the slow-report button. Which is also the only anti-cheat method that works, once they have gotten around the primary AC.
All of this works, as long as people buy the concept.
The influx of cheaters this week are insane. Truly must been a sale or a new mod version. The instant snaps from almost every new noob account. No recoil, esp, aim assits. Then they test on a boosting in Portal to see if they work. I watched players go 90-2 level 34 against real players. Wasnt anything like this bad since 1 week ago.

@robh350zAre you talking about console players? If so, I too have noticed a suspicious amount of highly accurate low-ranked console players as of late. At first, I brushed it off, but it keeps happening. I'm not buying that they're that good, especially players ranked less than 10. There are two things I think that are a possibility happening here.
1. There's an influx of console cheaters. Despite what many may believe, there are console cheaters too. Something I wasn't even aware of until a year or so ago.
2. Maybe Dice has implemented some behind the scenes shenanigans in order to help newer console players be more competitive. Perhaps a boost in aim assist and/or lesser recoil. I'm certainly not saying this is what's happening, and I understand that it sounds crazy, but when something doesn't seem right, it's probably not, right?
And if stopping cheaters weren't enough, we now have peripheral companies releasing keyboards and monitors with built-in cheats. Something I hope Dice addresses before the next BF release to put a stop to using this type of BS. I mean, damn, enough is enough. Now we have popular peripheral brands stooping this low to aid cheaters. SMH! - 13 days ago@Doo-Doo-Draws both per say, there are some console cheats out there. Its easily done. With usb stick console port plug ins.
Dice doesnt want to hear it. They remove any thing remotely about cheating. They want sales. - 13 days ago
"They want sales."
100%. This is where it comes full circle.
EA sells broken titles, does NOT care about hackers, if anything SUPPORTS them by their inaction.
Why I should spend another cent to their company when my game play experience has no care at all?The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Answer - Im done. EA wont see any more of my money.
I've been around since Desert combat days playing the GA ladder, became soft and gave into their promises they would act and make improvements, to see the same ending time and time again.
- 13 days ago@O-loony-O yea would you buy a game if there a bunch of posts about cheating. NO... So they get rid of anything about it.

starting to remove cheating info on the Answers HQ forums.
Having names of players cheating, not name shaming. Its informative.

It's been the same since BF3. As long as there are players left who accept the situation, they don't need to clean up more than necessary.
This cat and mouse game also means, as it sounds, that they will always be one step behind and that magical solutions that many hope for are just dreams.
Once they get around the primary AC, only manual reporting works, and you know how effective it is at this point.
The faster you learn this lesson, the faster you also realize that it's over for online fps, as the demand for gaming chair products in both software and hardware only seems to increase. - 8 days ago
I've always like the community vote system. Just needs to be a high count to avoid the butt hurt people that want to vote out a legit player because they died.
But really, if your OP in a server of noobs, hacking or not, it ruins the game for them.Judging by the spam in chat, im sure this would get hacked up too unfortunately.
