EA app friends list broken

Im talking with EA support and they have ruled out everything else so it´s my connection. He suggest me to "hardwire my PC" and that will end the issue because my current connection is blocking EA app. I´ve been hardwiring my PC since 1996.
So that´s why my friends in different countries around EU have the same issue at the same time...my connection is not hardwired...GG EA

Your support is a disgrace

I highlighted the issue in EA's discord, got a warning for saying the error is on their side, that their support is what it is and that im going to play on steam because they never fail.

You staff in EA makes it great for us players to handle issues with your products. You charge us alot for a licens to play, you mess up and treat us players as the bad guys.

You have no understanding and should be doing something else than being in a business targeting consumers.

for around a week now i cant see friends online in the EA app nor battlefield online friends. i play with 2 other people in the same house we are all on pc and all suddenly have the same issue. i can walk into their rooms and clearly see they are both online but somehow ea/battlefield can not recognising the fact. we are hardwired on a gigabit network with fttp at about 650mbps down 150mbps up.
we are on the brink of leaving the game entirely and are hoping someone on here can suggest a solution. we dont use steam.
things we tried. 
delete all ea and battlefield files inc app, game, program files etc
reinstall ea and battlefield
cleared temp

cleared %Temp%
cleared ProgramData
cleared shader cache
allowed ea and bf through firewalls
prayed to god, allah, buddah, satan, and the guy who owns the local corner shop.. 
we are out of ideas. we just want to squad up and play the damn game :-(
