@Straatford87 how difficult can it be to make a survey? you managed to make multiple in BFV, what changed that this can not be done anymore....
I don't necessarily think a survey is needed atm - they already have a short term plan on what needs fixing (scoreboards, some weapon/vehicle balances, season 1 drafts, etc.), and the constant flow of feedback and data should help them in the long term.
We have active confirmation and discussion in the form of the known bugs list and the BattlefieldComms Twitter although, yes, they could still do better.
The sheer volume of data and feedback they recieve is staggering to say the least but trust me when I say they are listening -- They quite often agree with the majority of players, we just all need to work together

If they went back to Premium we would probably have the roadmap you're looking for but this live service model will always be "**subject to change". By delaying S1 again they have effectively erased the ability to guarantee any timeline for content outside of weekly challenges (these are done months in advance).
Obviously there is room for improvement, I just think they have backed themselves into a corner at the moment - once they get over this first hurdle, we should in theory see a more dedicated timeline + roadmap- @TTZ_Dipsy The model doesn't impact roadmaps in the slightest, there's no difference if DLC would be paid or free. And we're not even talking a content roadmap, which is what DLC is for, many of us are talking a roadmap for the next 3 months where DICE is focusing on addressing core issues within the game.
If they're nearly 2 full months into the year and don't have a plan for the next 3 months of work so they can hit their "early summer" target for S1, they're further behind and the game is in a rougher state than we thought. - @TTZ_Dipsy i would pay for a premium pass to avoid this *. i already paid an extra 40 bucks for year 1...

Spot on, communication (or rather lack-there-of) is what we've been screaming for especially with the delays.
I can't for the life of me figure out what the reason could possibly be for not putting out a roadmap at a bare minimum.
Do they just not know what they are gonna do? Why in the hell is this TOP SECRET?

Nothing of that should be top secret. And what definitely is NOT top secret is to tell us what you have gathered and WHAT EXACTLY you are communicating about what your player base expects.
But NOOOOO, if the CMs would post THAT (even though it cannot -- by definition -- be secret as it is the input from us to you), then they would lose the convenient excuse you pulled off the last time after release, stating that the expectations of the players of what the game should look like where somewhat 'unexpected'.

And most importantly we knew what would be in each DLC in advance. !
- @RayD_O1 That's down to DICE back then knowing what they were doing and having good leadership and has nothing to do with how they fund ongoing development.
This is a very difference DICE than the DICE that launched BF4.

Yep players have been clamouring daily for transparency regarding where BF2042 is going in future updates.
Your own forum thread "Improved feedback process " which you started 3 weeks ago has been asking for a road map and asking when the Feedback Loop is starting but unfortunately we are no further on.
Keeping players in the dark results in a build up of frustration and mistrust which is clearly evident when you read the daily forum posts.
As you say the sooner they publish a road map the better before any more players jump ship. !
