@Psubond splitting the community has always been a red herring. The Community is currently split between breakthrough and conquest in AOW and between AOW and Portal overall. The Community is also split between 2042 and those who dislike 2042's current vision and have returned to BF3/4/1/V right now. One thing DICE can't afford to do is keep the status quo and ignore their player base or this game will be cancelled early like BF5. If DICE eats some crow about misreading what we want (despite the deafening feedback from the community since BF1 as to what we want) and tries to please both player bases then there will be far more players playing 2042 making queue times drastically reduced for all modes in the future and everyone wins.
