"Are you disappointed with Battlefield 2042? If you think the latest Battlefield game has some issue that need to be ironed out, you’re not alone, and even the higher ups at EA think the same way as well. In case you didn’t know, before 2021 was over, EA shocked gamers by announcing that not only was Vince Zampella (Respawn Entertainment boss) the newly appointed head of the Battlefield franchise, but that Halo franchise co-creator Marcus Lehto was on-board the franchise as well, as the head of the franchise’s narrative."
That said... Changes have been made I guess... So time will tell...
@M4tt_Macabre I don't really think make a COD Dev the head of battlefield development bodes well for actual battlefield fans, it just screams more codlike gameplay to come
No but I have more faith in the guy behind titanfall.. Besides COD always had excellent map design... Gameplay was trash until they took a leaf out of battlefields book and stopped being a shooter on rails...
Anything is going to be an improvement on a game that was only 60% complete to start with...
People also want a narrative and a campaign... Both those guys have good experience in that... We know cod is trash... That's why we are here crying about the fact the new battlefield is broken.... You can't deny ea have put some heavy hitters in charge to try and improve on this * show.
