Yeah there 1xxxx ways to protect a game and detect cheaters better than the past or actual programs do.
Let me throw in some words:
Sandboxing
Hardcoding
Game Engine integrated Anti Cheat
Matchmaking System
Overwatch System
Server sided checks
preventing of performance impacts ( latency check, ping check and kick, packetloss checks)
overall the good old brain system to create algorythm that compare noobs vs pro and pro vs pro and noob vs noob gameplay to detect abnormal behaviourm
general olgorythm with automatic ban for stuff like Battlefield 3/4 cheaters do 100 kills in 5 minutes to 1 death.
and so on .. my thread is gone where i explained
there are many ways .. but it seems none of the developers/programmers is willed to do (or want to use their brains ??)
I mean take a look onto bad jokes like FaceIT or ESL they called and named "professional" all whats pro in there is their unique way to fail.
Gimme a Team of programmers 1 year of time and let me lead them to success (oh but none of you have the eggs to do so or ? @ EA )

If they was really serious about cheaters they would of made it windows 11 only and use tpm rs keys to permanently ban cheaters.
I guarantee you they aren’t serious about cheaters it’s all lip service!

If EA pays for an external anticheat service, they probably expect some kind of result, compared to an internal thing where the mentality can go to we do it tomorrow solution. So at least they have done something, then if it is the best solution, everyone can answer for themselves by seeing how EAC works in other games.

I agree with you 110%. They def do NOT want to have an effective AC cause they know it will destroy their sales....
