Ill take it over whatever BFV had. Its a step up!
No matter what AC has been used or will be used, it rarely have or will solve the problem.
Historically, the best way has been rental servers with an active admin imo.
Hopefully Portal servers will be able to solve the task.
There's no way I'm approaching official servers.
It is only asking for problems and frustrations
@SirBobdkThis, though i'm probably going to end up in an official server through quickplay at some point, i just won't be shocked if someone's going 50-1 as infantry and praising their skill and chair.
That said, i'm hardly going to complain that they put in EAC, at least it keeps the freebie/low rent cheat crowd somewhat in check.Edit: Also, i suspect Ragnarok forgot to hit the lock button. 😉
Thankfully I am so incredibly good at the game that cheaters mostly don't stand a chance against me. But I do realize this is a problem for most players.
- @SirBobdk This is the ONLY way i have ever seen servers come close to being cheat free. when a server has active mods and the tools to quickly find and remove cheaters, players gravitate to those servers and they stay popular for a long time.
How do you FIND these 'servers'? Would really like to know....

@2042onthemove do you mean the well run admin'd servers that everyone loves? They're usually the community servers with the queues that stay consistently populated.

The game will not have spectate mode or recorder.
Nice that we get portal servers, but without tools it can be problematic.@SirBobdkyeah man recorder was so huge back in the day for getting rid of cheaters. you could watch any replay of a match and see whats going on, you could slow things down and watch them snap target to people through walls and spray perfect lines across the wall that would of insta tapped the enemy behind it, and know for sure what programs they are using haha
would also like to say, recorder wasnt just for catching cheaters. it was very good at proving some players are just good. when you see people complaining about a player over and over, you could go back and watch the recorder of the match and see what really went down and see that a guy isnt cheating.
just a all around great tool to have, i miss it.
