Yeah, I could see that.
I can also understand pilots getting a little hot and bothered by it, it does do a considerable amount of damage and getting spawn-killed is pretty aggravating. On the other hand, as someone who has been spawn-killed by helos in this game more times than I can count it's hard to feel much empathy to pilots getting lasered by the TOR.
I am primarily a ground-pounder, and they really don't pose much of a threat to ground-based targets, if I were to hop in a tank, I would opt for the MBT over the TOR any day of the week.
I take my words back. Lately i have been killed with it more frequently. My question is,
DOES IT EVER MISS? 90% of times i get shot by is first shot for tank guy, rarely i see projectile miss.
About empathy, i understand that. But this is a bit overkill. We are talking here about infantry vs helo mostly. Only one weapon does 1ohk in helo are bombs, which even actually are not. But my point is, that tank gives no warning sign, it can appear everywhere and is very hard to follow.
- @Man_iLoveFishing It does give a visual warning sign. When charging up it produces the same light as the sniper long range scopes but much bigger and is easy to see if you're looking in that direction.
