Agree, the whole point of AI was to populate the server to max players until you fill them with warm bodies.
This gives the all-out-war feeling and the chaos that goes with it.
The AI in my experience has been rather good, so I don't see the harm in giving full XP and progression on servers that uses Official settings and populating it with AI.
Create an option that allows AI with Official rules and no modifiers, that will give full rewards.
Hello all, I'm new to the forums but a long time BF player since BF2. I agree that the bots are rather tough on an advanced level but really only against infantry. If I jump in a tank it seems like the AI isn't programmed to handle that very well. Overall I'm happy with how hard they are to play against (they are like a bunch of sharp shooters) but I wish they would counter vehicle play a bit better. On a side note they should add some human tendencies to the bots and have them randomly crash vehicles around you. It would give more battlefield moments to the game when playing against the AI.

The AI can now fly jets, revive you and even drop ammo for you.
They also move together and are able to destroy you if you're in a vehicle contrary to your experience. I've been shot out the sky by a tank numerous times.- 3 years ago
Hi S3SSioN_SoL, thanks for the info, I didn't know they travel in packs and work together now. I've noticed they seem to be all around better since launch which is great. I still feel I can run a map in a tank with very little push back vs AI but get a noticable challenge vs humans.
Overall I'm very happy with the level of detail and intelligence the put in the AI. DICE / EA get a lot of heat for the poor launch (rightfully so) but I give them credit for the decent AI.
