Exactly mate. we have had to endure MM long enough and players like yourself have been denied proper access to BF2042 which is totally unacceptable in any game.
Sad to think that after a seasonal drop that the player count couldn't even hit the January average player count levels. Now halfway into Season 1 and the player count looks like February. If it keeps trending the same way, we will be back at game player count lows again in mid-August.
It doesn't have to be this way. Make it easier for players to join who can't play. Make it a better joining experience for those that can play but don't want to sit in a queue. Add a Server Browser already.

It's unbelievable that the Devs and CMs will come and comment on certain threads in this forum (e.g. stealth heli nerf thread) while ignoring all together this thread, the server browser thread and several other old and VERY long threads. It's pretty goddamn disrespectful and infuriating that they won't even address these HUGE elephants in the room.
At this point even if they're NOT going to address these issues, I at least want them to man the hell up and say so.
@Ironhead841my assumption is they have a gag order or Server Browser in English does not translate into Swedish.

I know, I assume it is something similar as well, but the optics are really, really BAD when you claim to care about player feedback and also claim it's an "all hands on deck" approach and when you claim you want this title to succeed.
- @Ironhead841 I personally feel that they are afraid to say no. Maybe in their minds or legally they have to keep going and by saying no to our issues will just make more players leave. But then again with these issues they will leave anyway. So I do not know what type of game they are playing.

We certainly are the poor relations when it comes to getting any attention, and yes like you I also find it pretty infuriating that no one seems to care.
- @RayD_O1 I believe I said this in another post, we all are paid beta testers for the next BF. They suckered us into testing 2042 knowing the game was in bad bad bad shape. And we paid our own money for it lol.

It feels nothing like previous BF's, so many things are missing that made BF great.
The biggest being a Server Browser / Persistent Servers.
Pre Orders for the next BF will take a mega hit that's for sure.
- @RayD_O1 I can't wait for earnings projections for the quarter where the next BF is going to be released. I feel like EA will believe they will have comparable numbers to the BF2042 launch, but I expect nothing more than half of that on the next title, maybe less.
They have just handled this thing wrong from the beginning. After all the issues, they should've went free to play until Season 1, then dropped a lot more content than they did with a Server Browser, Squad/Team/Platoon functionality in Season 1. All the maps should've been refreshed for Season 1. That would've brought a ton of people back.
I have never seen so many missteps from a company so big. It would've been easy to fix this if they wanted to.

It will take nothing short of a miracle to undo the damage BF2042 has done to the BF franchises reputation.
They launched with only 7 AOW maps and imho the maps were not a patch on previous BF's maps.
We still haven't got the Server Browser / Persistent Servers that BF2042 needs to survive. !!
We have basically been starved of new content and there has been no indications that things are going to change for the better.
It is nigh on impossible to be anything other than pessimistic going forward, so the signs are not good for the next BF title.
Just noticed the date, it is exactly 8 months since the official release date of 19th November 2021.
I didn't expect then that BF2042 would still be without a proper server browser / persistent servers and have only 8 AOW maps 8 months later.
BF2042 has not lived up to my expectations.!
Make players wait forever to join a game, then it ends in 2 minutes so they are thrown back into the queue. Lovely design.

- @Ironhead841 Even if the skins were actually awesome I couldn’t get it anyways. No server browser so I cannot find a match and when I do I can only play one or two full matches. Second I could not get progression because if I cannot take down the opposite player because of hitreg I get less points.

In all seriousness though you were definitely dealt a bad hand with BF2042 and it is a total disgrace that nothing is being done or said about it.

Dice, every day this community is asking for MM to be replaced with a proper Server Browser and Persistent Servers.
Many players have been denied access altogether and surely this has to stop.
It would help if you would even give us an update as to whether this will be coming in future updates.
Something as important as this needs to be given priority over minor fixes etc, BF2042 simply cannot function with MM.
DICE please listen to the community.
I would encourage any players currently disillusioned with MM to add their daily support for it's removal.
Think how much more enjoyable your whole BF2042 gaming experience could be if you could simply choose your own server and stay on it to play through the whole map rotation.
No more being forced into the same maps round after round.
No more back to the MM lobby after every single round, sometimes after joining a few seconds before the match finished.
You would be able to stay on the same server with friends / squad members.
There are just so many reasons MM does not work in a Battlefield Multiplayer game and it's high time BF2042 was brought up to the same standard of previous battlefields.
So if you want change, please add your daily support for this thread, thanks.
