I can carry 5 AT or 5 AA rockets plus 5 AT mines BF4. Or I can carry 5 Stingers plus 2 AA mines. BF1 Support can kill tanks quickly w 2 Limpets and an AT nade. And that’s w infinite Limpet amm...

You're not talking about an engineer you're talking about rambo with a skill set. An engineer is going to need ammo from a team mate. 1 man shouldnt be able to just causally stroll around the map with endless rockets / AA / AT. I'm not saying they shouldn't get some love, but what you're saying is wild. Under the same general principles, a medic should be able to revive themselves after death too

We just want Engineers in 2042 that are just as deadly to vehicles as they are in previous BF titles. Engi’s that are FUN and as effective as Engineers in previous BF titles . Nothing more.
There’s no denying that 2042 Engi’s are infinitely weaker than they’re Engineer counterparts as we've seen in previous BF titles. It’s not even close.
Engi’s in 2042 feel weak and ineffective. They’re just not fun and are terrible at their primary role compared to Engineers in previous BF titles.

If you want previous iterations of the engi, you should expect previous iterations of the aircraft, bf2042 helos and jets are extremely, and i mean very very very Much EXTREMELY underpowered. They're slow af, and now less agile and the focal point for the miniguns is nerfed, if you can't kill vehicles with an engi, you're the problem. skill issue
One of the more comical things in this game is when DICE messes with gadgets that literally only 2 Specialists can use, not even an entire class, just Boris and Crawford. They were already the worst two specialists in the game, then they nerf the only useful gadgets they had.
