Stronger rockets or more rockets either way would work, me personally I don't mind playing a little peek-a-boo with a tank and having to land quite a few shots on them, I would opt for more rockets myself.
I think you mean the cooldown. I respectfully disagree. Having unlimited missiles comes with a price. Lis is not meant to solo vehicles. She is meant to identify vehicles damaged so otherss focus. The problem is the team is not heeding her heads up. Her SOFLAM ability is really what DICE designed. Once damaged, vehicles light up to her. And remember, the cooldown is from the first missile fired, not the second.
I agree though that Boris' Turret and Crawford's minigun aren't really viable anti-vehicle traits.
Neither are viable or effective because they are easily destroyed. If I was to change Boris, I would turn the minigun, into a SOFLAM. It targets and highlights vehicles (like Lis sees when damaged). The gun itself would no longer fire bullets, but light up vehicles for missiles for other players other then Boris. Range of 200 M no LOS. The only drawback is that his missiles couldnt take advantage of the SOLFAM.
I like the idea of engineers carrying 2 rockets only but the damage increased to be at least 50% health against heavy tanks and increased damage against the transport helis

Lis is not supposed to solo vehicles. This has never been her design. She can 1 hit bug helo's but that is it. The damage from her rockets is fine. For large vehicles, infantry is supposed to teamwork them down. The fact infantry doesnt play cooperatively isnt what makes vehicles OP. Prior to 3.2 rollout, things were good and Lis could not solo large vehicles.
- 3 years ago@Padding_Ur_Stats I agree, but the problem with teamwork with larger vehicles is that this takes away from people capping or pushing an objective, leaving the other team to maintain caps or take caps because a larger vehicle has dominated a portion of the map and requires more players to take down.
- 3 years ago@1gamerdad Then they somehow have to increase the availability to the (what are now rare) ammo crates.
- 1gamerdad3 years agoSeasoned Adventurer@Wargame_Enj0yer why? If your m5 can take out a take in two hits why would you need more ammo?

If they can only carry two rockets that do 50% damage with each shot and armor's ability to self-heal wouldn't that actually be a nerf?
I would rather keep the damage as it is now and increase Boris and Crawford's max rocket count to 5 at a minimum.
But even if they upped the rocket count, it still doesn't address the fact that they're specialist traits are worthless and don't fit well in the engineer role though.
- 1gamerdad3 years agoSeasoned Adventurer@Ironhead841 I would agree, something needs changed. There specialist gadgets are crap. Crawford's passive trait isn't terrible though.

Self heal starts after 8 seconds. If the second rocket hit at second 9, the vehicle not be destroyed.

It should take more then 1 player to destroy a vehicle in this game.

Agreed
The way to fix the problem is to remove the Borg Regeneration from all facets of the game. Force vehicles to use engineers to fix. For them to use their self heal bots. My buddies and I started a Portal to toy with some changes. In our Portal
- Ship health is .7
- No borg regen for vehicles or players
- Down players can crawl to get a revive.
Instead of 4 missiles to destroy a vehicle, it takes 3.
We are trying to get ours persistent.

The ability to "heal" vehicles starts immediately after you get hit if you have it equipped as an option instead of APS or smoke.
The ability to "solo" vehicles particularly armor goes all the way back to BF1942, it's not a "new" thing to the Battlefield series.
You had to be pretty stealthy/sneaky or play peek-a-boo with tanks, they had "sweet spots" that allowed one engineer/anti-tank class to take tanks down, and all aircraft were basically a 1-2 RPG rocket hit in every game all the way up through BF4.
I have ran engineer or anti-tank class almost exclusively since I started playing Battlefield (if the map was infantry-based, I'd occasionally switch to medic or support), if I'm not in armor myself then vehicle hunting is my jam, it's not like I'm a brand-new blueberry that doesn't understand the game's mechanics.
Angel was my first T1 (and still my highest ranked specialist I think) and it was primarily from hunting vehicles air and land based, they have seriously screwed the pooch with this new "engineer class" setup now and they need to fix it.
