Every good battlefield had a metro map - OPERATION METRO 2042 - S6

Battlefield 3
Metro. A map set in downtown paris.
At the beginning you are still outside in the park in the game mode rush. then you fight your way through a blown up underpass. you know the scenes from the battlefield 3 campaign. if you could conquer the first two flags, you fight your way out and come to the main street. from there it whistles only shot by sniper. while the last m-coms are held, parts of the facade crumble.

Battlefield 4

operation metro. a modified metro map. parts could be blasted out of the ceiling and there are generally more walking distances. A very good addition to the battlefield 3 vanilla map of the time

Battlefield V

a leaned slightly larger modified map from the third part at that time. interesting and new paths as well as classic urban combat without vehicles.

METRO is the main part of the battlefield series since battlefield 3 and one of the most popular maps.

@Dice. where is this map why haven't we heard about it yet? the layout is very simple and there are many ways to integrate this map into the 2042 universe. season 6 is the opportunity to bring back old maps like metro. are you listening to the community? then prove it with the gesture and bring this map. every good battlefield always had metro to choose from.

Question

what would you like to have on metro 2042? what changes or adjustments? write it in the comments... and give the post a like if you're just as metro crazy as me. cheers !

Metro-locker was never good, brainless meatgrinder to unlock weapon upgrades fast, only COD players may like this kind of maps

also, BF3 and BF4 had SERVER BROWSER and bunch of another brilliant maps

also you have that terrbile shipwreck map from S2 which is similar to metro

    Just no

  • I totally agree! One of my main beefs with 2042 is how large the maps are. Small maps force people to play the objective, discourage sniping, and lead to increased teamwork since everyone is closer together. Sounds like a win-win.
I think dice may be shying away from maps with houses on them purely just because of the amount of time it would take to model all of them. A lame excuse given how many of bfv and bf1's maps had copied houses between maps and even between games.
Dice/EA is probably also not going to abandon 128 player matches, and a smaller map would unfortunately probably be put down by someone high on the leadership (look up the DICE/EA glassdoor reviews - there are some great videos on the subject).

We can hope for a metro map, but I have my doubts that it will come.

Yeah I agree, the more the merrier I say, and one thing BF2042 definitely needs is more maps, and lots of them.

Ah, sooo many dreams, sooo many pipes 🤒

Just let me buy a Mega Map Pack that has all the maps from BF2, BF3, and BF4...that'll suit me fine for a solid year, lol.
