As someone who likes / plays both 64 / 128 modes I have always said both should be permanent.
As there are only 10 maps in BF2042 AOW one off the reasons I play the Exodus playlist is because I like the variety of being able to play Valparaiso, Caspian Border, Noshahr Canals and Arica Harbor. I also get to play the 64 player versions of the AOW maps regularly on Exodus, it's not just old maps.
There are players who only play one or the other, so if a player only likes playing 128 player mode they won't suddenly switch to play Exodus just because it's available.
Imho Exodus isn't stealing players from 128 Conquest mode each have there own core group of players, if Exodus isn't available one week then probably a lot of the 64 player fans will go and play Portal if there is an Official Featured 64 playlist available.
The real underlying problem is the low player count in BF2042 as a whole !
