It's always been that way (on PC use just hold the gadget slot key, I think it's the "3" key?), but it is usually more effective to just shoot it into the ground or a wall if you're next to it because the animation seems longer when self-administering.

Is the converse true? What if you shot it into the ground and an enemy player passed over it? Would it poison them? In that way it could be used as a sort of an anti-personnel mine (APM).

Nope but an enemy's dart shot in the ground will heal you if you run over it, weird huh?
- DaveTheBrave_USA3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Ironhead841 Weird considering that if you shoot an enemy with your dart it does a small amount of damage to them.
