@emerson1975 That was like 10 years ago. I really hope everyone stops using this theory because it's seriously flawed in so many aspects. The cheat providers are way past this point.
If people use cheats from a cheat provider I am quite sure both themselves and the cheat provider already understand why they are handed the ban.
In my case the detection is described as the following,
"EA cheat is saying that they cannot tell exactly why the user have been banned. They have found an external injection in the user's BF2042 client that they classify as using an intentional and invasive technique. The fingerprint is matching known aimbots and/or map hacks."
I'm quite happy with the depth of that description, but I would further like to work with EA support to find out more about this false positive. I'm sure they would still find, whatever it is, on my computer and fingerprint it more closely and then hopefully whitelist it, or maybe rework the technique they are using to finding these injections.
