WooT... finally back after a week ban on the forums. LoL!
Anyway I see nothing has changed. Same old song and dance. At least I got my money back but still beyond upset about losing 284 hrs, all my progression and being accused of something like cheating. I'm wondering how many people here farmed bots on the roof of Kaleidoscope? Would they actually perm ban and not just give a temp ban for something so stupid?
Kills me that I loved this game so much that the thought of buying it again popped into my head when it was on sale for $40... but I'm just not willing to do that without knowing why I was actually banned in the first place. Like if I knew it was because it was the farming I did... then I would fight for it to be changed to a temp ban as a perm ban for something of that nature would be beyond pathetic.
If I knew it was because they are accusing me of using an aimbot or on those lines... then I would fight the ruling because I know I didn't use one and it would have to either be a malfunction with EAC or it picking up something else within my system like a 3rd party app. I even downloaded 2 of the top antivirus wondering if I had something floating around my system that it could have detected but both came back clean. I even deleted AutoHotKey in the event it could have been that.
But not knowing is the major issue and what stops me from wanting to not only re-purchase 2042 but also any future EA products as what's the point if they end up doing the same thing? Not worth the hassle at this point.
Gaming since the days of DOOM in 1993 and never once been banned. Now fast forward 29 years and I for some reason opted to cheat? Yet if you could see my KDR you would literally laugh at someone accusing me of cheating. Unless I was cheating to get 6 - 8 kills on average per round? LMAO.
Sent in dozens of appeals and got nothing but copy/paste replies that everyone else has gotten in here. Their so called ToS Dept is worse than the dog poo you scrap off the bottom of your shoe when you step in it. EAC is even worse... 2 appeals with the first being on the day I was banned Dec 22nd and not a single response... just crickets. Same with emailing Epic Games to complain about it... crickets.
So... I'm stuck playing CoD Cold War Zombies... bored stiff... but at least they don't ban me for nothing. Thought about picking up Ready or Not but think I'll wait till it's out of beta and has a full multiplayer mode.
@-NME-M0710NM4NTo me, only a fool would buy the game again after being banned without knowing what he was banned for. In this case, he should see a doctor to treat his problem with video game addiction. I mainly play "Ready or Not" (I am more mil-sim than arcade) since its release. It's really good in its current state.

I was wondering where you are. luckily you haven't bought it again, EA is not worth a cent anymore, and the game is dead anyway. if you look at the steam forum, people write that they can't find any more matches, which is not surprising with ~ 10,000 players .
I'm still waiting for my data, yesterday I got an email that I would get the data from the legal department, whatever the legal department has to do with it@-NME-M0710NM4N autohotkey def got me banned, even though the macro that wasnt even running and has nothing to do with BF2042 is allowed to be used in Path of Exile...

I wish i can get a refund. bot reply again just a generic bot reply and at 1am no less "fast response" too upon this time frame their "investigation" after posting it was about 6 hours.. but i posted my ticket at like 8pm yesterday.- @staticsys I thought it was common knowledge that autohotkey will get you banned in many games.
@emerson1975 I play many games protected by EAC and never had a problem. Didn't have it running in the background.
