Love to hear these are staying - Flashback Conquest has been a ton of fun, and I think that's a testament to the design of the maps.
As for the 1942 maps, it's a shame to see them go. Fresh content is something we are hurting for, especially in the maps category - but - I can see an argument for why El Alamein can be hard to balance in FBCQ specifically. If anything I'd suggest bringing Battle of the Bulge back, it's been tons of fun each time I've played it. Then, if we ever get more legacy maps, throw them on into the playlist and make Flashback CQ the definitive mode to go for legacy maps with 2042 factions.
In general, giving us content that we can progress with (like what FB CQ does) seems like a total freebie. Heck, my next suggestion would be to add several of the Portal weapons in 2042 AND provide unlock progressions for them too.
