Feedback Thread: Flashback & Infantry Conquest

Today we have an update to share with you about some key changes taking place with Flashback Conquest and Infantry Conquest, two of our most popular Featured Experiences in Battlefield Portal, all based on your feedback.

These two Featured Experiences are proving popular, and we want to continue to deliver experiences you enjoy playing.

As of today (05th May), we plan to include either Flashback Conquest or Infantry Conquest in each Battlefield Portal Rotation Update for the foreseeable future.

Many of you have shared with us that including the Battlefield 1942 maps in Flashback Conquest disrupts the flow of the experience. This week, El Alamein and Battle of the Bulge have been removed from Flashback Conquest.

This is a change that we will keep a close eye on to see if you feel this is a positive or negative change, and we will make the necessary adjustments or revert this change based on the reception we see from this Featured Experience this week.

Alongside this, for Infantry Conquest we feel this is all about Boots on the Ground gameplay and we heard your complaints about the MAV being too disruptive in this Featured Experience, and we agree. We have taken the decision to remove the MAV from the next rotation of Infantry Conquest - please let us know your thoughts on if this improves or takes away from the Infantry Conquest experience.

    MAV still being in infantry-only is very frustrating. Only other complain is that IMO it should rotate between modes rather than occasionally have back-to-back modes. That way it's more predictable and that if folks like one and not the other there's at least 3-4 days where their favorite mode is available.

    Also, armor on infantry-only feels really lame overall. Basically it feels like you're pressured into playing Angel or using armor kits as your gadget to be on a level playing field.

    Beyond that both modes are still pretty fun, at least when you can find populated servers.

    @T0TALfps Add Mouse and Keyboard to Next Gen Console as we play with PC players! Make it an even playing field!

    Hi guys! This is a good decision.

    Flashback Conquest in my opinion is the best experience within 2042. Removing 1942 maps from the rotation is also a very positive thing.

    That being said Infantry Conquest is way worse. 2042 maps are simply bad. You cant get around it. Also server performance is so bad game that the game feels so awkward. Rubber bunding, super bullets etc. you name it.

    This update will not bring players back. Too bad BF4 has low population too. I ll be sticking with BFV.

    ps. Still waiting for the specialist feedback. If you cant remove the altogether, consider extending their countdown timer drastically. Every ability is just game breaking.

    Being back Infantry Conquest. It's the only good thing in this game and the reason I play everyday. In normal conquest I rarely get into gun fights. 

    TDM is terrible, you can replace it with that playlist.

    Please, Infantry Conquest in All-Out Warfare. It's the best mode, without helicOPters.

    I had to visit both oases in el alamein for the background to unlock

    But now no chance..

    @T0TALfps i like so much tactical conquest , without vehicle.
    maybe in 48 players and more ticket ?
    this game is full of vehicle modes , its not time to do something for who want play without vehicles?

    Cant we see other maps from other games too? 2142/BF1/BFBC2/Vietnam?

    REALLY give us a "Flashback" experience.

    Alot of people that play battlefield thee days never got to experience the likes of titan mode in 2142.

    Or how epic the vietnam maps were, get out the EA mindset and actually give the consumer what they want.

    add more maps to the portal rotation
