@Hudson009This is my biggest gripe with EA. Their "live service" commitment is nothing but lip service. This is the third live service game DICE has launched in a bad state.
- EA abandoned Battlefront 2 right as it got turned around with amazing content, and the Disney+ shows had everyone excited for the future of the game.
- EA abandoned BFV after just over a year. While things weren't in as good a state as Battlefront 2, it appeared to be greatly improved.
- Now here this game changer tells us they already have the next Battlefield in the works...meaning they will abandon this one after a year or two as well
So what's the point? Why even bother telling us it's "live service" when you have no intention of long term content support? How many times do you think people will fall for this? I'd say they should go back to Premium pass, but who's gonna buy even that at this point? Would we even trust them to follow through on that? lol

@ghinavirusYeah that would be great. Sort of like how ex-Blizzard devs working on Starcraft left and now are making their own RTS games. I think lot of Battlefront 2 devs left as well that helped turn the game around.
And if Embark does do well, just don't let EA or Activision buy you out. Sony or Microsoft would be great. They will let them continue to do what they do best, not turn them into a loot box machine lol.- 4 years ago@ArchAngeL-PCX I dont think they will get bought out. This could be a shining moment for the gaming industry. Some true competitors to compete against the big IP franchises is just what we need.
In a few years we may have some good games again including a good BF. Win win for all.- 4 years ago@ghinavirus Yeah hopefully they do. There's a lot of independent studios that get big doing their own thing and stay that way.
