@BigShotttIt's ditched they out source now it's released that's how it works. When people like you defend them then there is no hope. Have you actually played the game?
Not defending anyone, just correcting your spreading of misinformation.
Read some of my other posts for the last 60 days and you'll find me to be quite upfront and fair in my assessments to both sides.
The game is not abandoned, and subcontracting has nothing to do with the matter as that process has always been used actively in all software development. No matter what the employed status is of any particular coder contributing to a project, DICE and EA are still legally responsible for that code and also to their customers.
You and others like you who are simply hell bent angry and not thinking clearly or making any sense need to stop talking already and STOP PLAYING the damn game and do a chargeback, if ytou are really that unhappy with a product. Coming here and spreading false rumors is not going to make your future gaming any more satisfying...but taking real action WILL.
@BigShottt You are defending them. No misinformation the game released in a broken state? Have you ever seen a hovercraft drive up the side of a skyscraper? Also jump from one building to another? Have you ever seen a smg out perform a assualt rifle at mid range. It's just basic's and that just 2 examples and that's just the first thing you see straight away so how was it released like that?
They took money knowing the game was broken. You fire a rocket at the skirt of hover craft and nothing they just carry on at what point did not one dev/tester think hang on that's a weak point it should be disabled at that point..
Your trying to makeout there honest people who would not mis-inform you well they have and if you cannot see it well you cannot be helped.
I can not get a refund because i pre ordered and started the game even though i played less than 10hrs like the free trial offers!!
Exactly what a lot of us thought reading that review by an ex game changer (there were loads of passionate people who signed up and were game changers). Still people try to defend it but it was clear even from the beta something was off and there had been radical bad decisions at HQ that created this game.
It seems this is the way forward for them now, the 'old' BF is dead and they are creating their new 'meme apex' based battlefield, hence the clue in the terrible after battle screen cringe and the comments of a free to play BF coming next. Apex is also a EA game so they probably want full cohesion between the two.
The empty bland maps (which are worse graphically than panned graphics of new halo) The 128 players decision seems to have stifled the artistic, technical and gameplay design of this entire game. I think all the designs, left out out things etc were all trying to meet the brief of 128 players
@Kona_uk First of all...you are now attempting to double-talk and back-track your way out of what you have said and what my entire point is pertaining to when I said that you are spreading a false rumor and misinforming people when you said that DICE has abandoned this game, as nothing could be further from the truth, at this early stage. This is simply FALSE information yet you are spreading it on thick. You are free to speak your mind about true things that are bothering you about the game...but you are NOT free to spread foolish lies.
Next...we already know about the 50 bugs that can be silly, annoying and in some cases even game breaking...nobody is arguing those points and those were not the points you and I have been speaking about in this thread at all...we were discussing the fact that you are attempting to spread false information about the game being abandoned...this is obvious to anyone with even average reading comprehension and retention. Many of the bugs you speak of will more than likely be fixed, in time, as they typically have been in this franchise's history.
...and lastly...you have every right to ask your issuing bank for a charge-back on the amount you've paid for the game if you simply claim it is in a broken state and the vendor who sold it to you is not cooperative. You are NOT forced to put up with this if you are sincerely not enjoying yourself. Doesn't matter what Steam says or anyone else...it is between you and your bank so please don't say that you can't get a refund. You just need to do a little leg work and fill out a simple form, done.
...and now I'M done too. As disappointed as I am myself with certain aspects of the game I also believe in being honest...and I know SO MANY people who gave a negative review yet are still playing, and more importantly, ENJOYING the game.
I have not defended DICE in this thread, and do not believe they deserve defending...I have defended TRUTH and fairness. Nothing I state is false, as your claims have clearly been.
I am also a player in this, and will no longer waste my time discussing these issues with unreasonable/immature personalities.

The "mimimimi" crew are deafeningly loud, and the complaints and general nastiness of the forum are supported by anger (justified or not), baseless assertion, faulty inference, appeals to majority and no true Scotsman fallacies.
Pointing out that there is no evidence for the wild claims (or to support anything that the ex-Game Changer said as it's all in a private Discord, where everyone was shiny and happy and everyone had a waifu and cancer had been cured) will fall on deaf ears.
Some of these people are allowed to drive. Some even have the vote.

Look it's a full price online only game with many game breaking bugs.
I could have sussed these bugs in a hour but they released it knowing it was broken.So who were the game testers were they paid? EA forced the release knowing the issues. 3 years they have worked on this you telling me it's ok. You will not see me online if you play on pc to many cheats already. If you try to come back and say they ban cheats they ban no one they come back in a hour with new spoofed hardware etc. But there are cheats out there they have never banned anyone from as cannot detect them. They will not invest to catch them because the cost is to high and they just cannot be bothered.
@Kona_ukThey are the BF3/4 equvilants to your BF2042 hovercraft example.
BF1's Helriegel also had questionable characteristics similar to BF2042's SMGs.
Point is, the examples you have given are not unique to BF2042 and similar oddities can be found in pretty much every Battlefield game.

Do you remember the glitch with LAVs in BF2 where you could turn it into an F1 car with a Logitech MX mouse (with the flywheel on free motion) and mapping accelerate to mouse wheel +?

All dice main staff have now been pulled from the project.
They have out sourced the fix to basically a poundland company in the industry to fix issues.
