Fix the mouse input
I just went to play BFV for the first time in monts and the difference is night and day Is it really impossible to port the code use for BFV? I have never seen a AAA title where the mouse input is ...
Was trying out the new patch last night and it felt like I was a half a second behind everyone. I would aim at an enemy player and was not able to connect. It appeared as though the aim was not lining up with the sights and was purely frustrating. This really needs to be fixed!
Short answer to thread title question: no.
Ok, maybe I stumbled onto something I saw a while back in a vid, but I just made a bunch of changes and holy crap the difference. Yes, this should be fixed and still needs some work, but here's what I did...make sure that your Windows mouse acceleration is OFF. (Enhanced Pointer Precision)
Go into Mouse & Keyboard, "ON FOOT" settings. Set your Sens and FoV to whatever your preference is I have
Sens = 10
FoV = 74 (this is based on my resolution)
ADS FoV is ON
Soldier Zoom Aim Sens is 100
Now here's where it gets interesting
Aim Ratio = 100
Zoom Aim Ratio = 100
Uniform Soldier Aiming = OFF
Zoom Transition Sens Smoothing = OFF
I then set the zoom sens to my preference. And you may be saying "but I have mine like that" and you may. Here's part two.
Go into "Controller - ON FOOT"
Set any setting from above to match on the Controller setting. (Make them all match to be sure) Here's what's a bit different.
Soldier Aim Assist = 0
Soldier Aim Assist = 0
Aim Left/Right Acceleration = 0
EVERYTHING ELSE SHOULD BE THE SAME!
Once I did this things got a WHOLE LOT better. Also, if you have a mouse capable of it, change your mouse polling rate to see if that helps as well. I was at 500 and went to 1000 and it was better.
Hope this helps!!
^^ This works thank you so much. I have low ping (25) and usually only kill around 5 people in a round. Just applied these settings and got 18 kills

As I just posted on the other thread :
Good post, thanks for sharing, let's hope this can help players until DICE get round to addressing this. 👍
