I agree, slide in BFV felt much better and mainly useful in CQB disorientating opponents around corners and such, I miss leaning and crouch-leans as well while in a standing position.. now "slide" is just a visual thing that has no real function except slowing you down .. yes they need to stop listening at many of our complaints sometimes as they often relate to a certain type of players, a certain type of players wanted slide gone and that certain type of players mainly scoped players seeking players to stand more still, it's really not a good reason to remove excellent features just because some say it looks silly
@BangExperienceYou used it in a way it was not intended to be used, it virtually made you un hittable.
Just to add, it is still useful for getting in cover, and people still use it to fly out of cover shooting.
Sliding has no place in a BF game unless it's very limited and has a large cool down period so it could be used for diving behind cover but thats it. When I see people jump spamming and sliding all over the place it just reminds of a CoD/Fortnite game.
This is what sliding reminds me of in video games. It looks ridiculous. 🤣
Get rid of sliding completely!
