You guys with this “abuse” thing about sliding. How about you learn to use it? It’s actually rewarding to learn new skills and incorporate them in to your play style. It’s definitely not a free kill or anything. It does take skill to know when to use it, how to be aggressive with it, and to be able to counter aim movement. It’s also fun to use.
I think it’s in a pretty good spot. It’s still pretty fun to use and doesn’t go very far. I mostly use it as a way to entertain myself and to dodge some incoming fire. Every now and then I’ll finish an engagement if they duck behind cover after taking damage.
It’s a lot of fun and you all should just learn to use it more. Sliding is in a ton of games for the simple fact it’s entertaining. What else can you add to tactical shooters to improve movement? Being a walking turret is just so boring.

@Tank2042ManWhere did I mention Sonic?
Do you stand still in Battlefield games when you shoot or getting shot at? Or do you strafe and move around? How does that compare to real life?
How about parachuting, cutting it, then redeploying another one.
All games are pretty ridiculous when you break them down. That’s not the point. It’s about balance and what makes it fun to play.
