Flares don't work anymore?

I use the super hind a lot and I keep getting hit with lock-on rockets even after firing the flares. It happens so frequently, even one of my friends noticed the same when they tried to fly themselve...

The only time I see this is if the heli is very close and the AA hits before changing direction towards the flares.
Other than that it will be the games appalling hitreg/netcode server desync issues.

@Ai-Fluffy Yup, I noticed that. I always pop the flares early when I'm close the launcher.
Also, stinger rockets are so fast and smart now, they go behind obstacles and buildings. So ridiculous.

    @Enawy Again, having just finished the weekly mission using Stiglas, I can confirm that they don't do that.

      @Trokey66 I’m pretty sure other folks and I are not imagining it. It happens so frequently now. I can capture a video and post it later.
