Flares don't work anymore?

I use the super hind a lot and I keep getting hit with lock-on rockets even after firing the flares. It happens so frequently, even one of my friends noticed the same when they tried to fly themselves. I noticed AA rockets got some increase in speed, it might be a combined issue with network lag?

I captured this video which shows the problem happening twice in a row in less than 30 seconds!! https://youtu.be/R_GA5pUSbOc?si=bcNRS41qCnPhdpQO

@Trokey66 I’m pretty sure other folks and I are not imagining it. It happens so frequently now. I can capture a video and post it later.

@Enawy There are few factories that might get you an hit even if you flared in time.

    A. Rockets starts spinning around you and you move same time on its route

    B. Rocket that wasnt meant for you. Meaning, same time there maybe was another aircraft close to you.

    C. Ping, higher ping, the sooner you need to flare.

Good example, in hourglass map i flare, i still get hit and shoots me out. It spun around me once.

Hi all. Missiles with an active guidance head fired from fighters are practically not blocked by traps. You need to avoid them with a sharp maneuver towards the rocket and slightly to the side. This system is very annoying because in most cases you don’t know where the rocket was launched from.
Missiles have a passive guidance head, fighter pilots launch them in close proximity to the target, and if you have not released the traps in advance, then you have little chance of deflecting the missile.
I also noticed an interesting trick using SOFLAM. You are highlighted with SOFLAM, the infantryman shoots at any ground vehicles from the Javelin and switches the targeting to SOFLAM. As a result, the missile quickly deflects and hits the laser mark at tremendous speed.
I realized this when I had information about aiming, then it reset and after 2 seconds there was repeated information about aiming and in less than a second I was destroyed with the 1st hit.

I wasn’t hovering at all in the second hit! I moved far away from where I was. Moreover, moving or not, flares should work regardless.

on the second, flares actually did work. You can see how missile is going into "loop mode" but hits your tail. You are just big xD. But for sure is cheesy how flares make them spin around.
