They have been radio silent for a while now.
Just like last year, corporate decisions have been made.
This game is on life support, the player count is what they base their future decisions on. Is the juice worth the squeeze?
We will get nothing more than the exact amount of content and fixes that have been mentioned. So don't expect any of the requests you have made to even be considered. You will lucky to even get a reply at this point.
This is what we are getting:
- Introduction of classes
- An updated Breakaway
- One more map in S4
- One more Specialist in S4
- An updated Discarded map (maybe?)
- Season 5 was announced, but who knows if they will follow thru on it and what it will actually look like. If player count is even lower in 3 months, I don't expect much.
- We will probably see an updated Hourglass, I don't expect a new BattlePass, but we may get a few more vault weapons and maybe a Portal map in AOW.
@Adamonic This is probably true (sadly). I'd like to think if they want to retain the current player base they could add more content then the current amount. I mean no player can possibly be thrilled with 1 new map, 2-3 new weapons, and some cosmetics each season for 12-14 weeks. By week 7-8 each season and even sooner player counts die back down by then and the new content is exhausted by like week 4. It's so sad to see this. Bf1 still has more players online round the clock. Look how old it is
- @SCUBASTEVE120 Just add some modern weapons, gadgets, and vehicles to BF1. Hit reg is much better and it has a Server Browser.
- @Adamonic Because it is a WW1 game there really isn't much they can add to it. It would ruin it's theme/immersion factor. I think they added about all they could add 😁
- @SCUBASTEVE120 just make it a new mode, there are some great maps in there. They could've just added BF4 weapons, gadgets, and vehicles played on BF1 maps (like Portal). Not mixed. Modern Conquest, Modern Breakthrough, etc.
