Fortifications and Destructions
I saw very little in the way of destruction. Will there be fortifications? Will buildings fall?
- @HappyHourSumwur DICE put the environmental destruction in waaay back in Bad Company 1. One of the cheevos was cutting down 100 trees. In bad company 2, you'd get credit for the kills when you'd knock down a building; "placed the C4" click-BOOM!!!! and the killfeed would light up with enemy names (and sometimes team mates, but, oh well.) I like the idea of knocking down small and medium size buildings, as long as there's still opportunity for taking cover in the rubble of the larger scrap piles afterwards. BF has a great mix of destroyable/permanent structures .
Some buildings collapse completely, others are left skeletons of I beams and destroyed walls (Zavod is a great example).
