@carsono311 I am more skeptical of DICE's reported IFF lighting fix based on their performance in BF5 where visibility was once again an issue despite their IFF lighting fixes. Expecting something to be drastically better than their recent work in BF5 isn't realistic IMO.
- carsono3114 years agoSeasoned Ace@ragnarok013 Yeah, I understand that... but I have not encountered the same visibility issues that I did in Battlefield V, just the IFF issues really. As such, I am hopeful that their fixes are sufficient. We will all see soon...

This is one of my biggest problems in accepting the BF2042-output as even just decent programming/game design work from the EA lab...
Where have all the hard learnings gone from previous BF games?
Even from just the most recent BFV?
It is staggering to see all those many programmer-beginner and game-design-beginner blunders now popping up again.
And here it is clearly the managers and directors above that have not been mature/qualified for their jobs and pay grade!
