DICE has come long way fixing this game, latest patch/season has put the game in a great place. Feels so good to play its miles better than launch and honestly im having so much fun but I've also seen an influx on cheaters lately. I play on PC since the start and on previous season it was rare, and i mean RARE to come across with a cheater. Yes there were here and there but nothing like right now. It doesn't matter which mode you hope-on really but match after match i spot several cheaters, some wallhacking some just plain obvious aimboting everyone with a sniper or shotgun across the map.I Know EA/DICE have limited resources for 2042 after the disastrous launch but please DICE im begging you, please do something about cheaters.Game has so much potential if you guys take good care of it and one crucial aspect is banning all cheaters but more importantly early detection.That's all, happy holidays!

I don't understand why you feel is the game is in a good place, with one hit kills, people sponging bullets and the feeling like you're a half second behind everyone, I can see why people think there are cheaters.

Compared to previous iterations the anticheat solution is one of the few positives about 2042. There are no free to download hacks for 2042, which are used by the majority of the scum, who are making BF1/5 and SWBF unplayable. Are there cheaters in 2042, pretty sure yes, but luckily the amount of scum is far lower as in previous iterations. Personally i came across 1 rage aimbotter so far., but in certain other regions this might be different.

@sk1lld Couldn't agree more. The game feels absolutely awful especially on console. I play one or two games and then I'm outa there. I'm not sure why everyone gives them a pass and thinks that the game is "improving". It's probably because Dice was saying they were committed to the game and this was enough to convince them that the game was getting better. @Ironhead841 Very true and @Ragnarok made a good point that Battlefield hasn't felt good since they went over to AWS servers during BF1. I don't think it's a coincidence that the game has felt really bad with BF5 and now in BF2042. I'm really starting to think that the servers have a lot to do with the abysmal performance with the last 2 iterations.

I’ve shadowed them and recorded them and had them banned in clan servers. I have yet to see an actual hacker, maybe two since I started playing 2042 in beta. I won’t pretend they can’t exist, it’s still incredibly rare IMO. I’ve seen more consoles firing the Vicar full auto indicating the use of a third party device than I have pc hacks. Until they manage (if?) to fix the other issues, it’s going to be difficult to pin an actual hacker down.

Game feels very good now but please do something with the cheaters!

As for aimbotting, I haven't seen a single obvious aimbotter yet.

@ElTell0 There are so many network issues, desync, time nudge etc that it’s really hard to tell. I’ve been playing BF since 1942, and gamed before that. I’ve seen hackers. I’ve shadowed them and recorded them and had them banned in clan servers. I have yet to see an actual hacker, maybe two since I started playing 2042 in beta. I won’t pretend they can’t exist, it’s still incredibly rare IMO. I’ve seen more consoles firing the Vicar full auto indicating the use of a third party device than I have pc hacks. Until they manage (if?) to fix the other issues, it’s going to be difficult to pin an actual hacker down.

Totally agree, BF2042 may have many problems but hackers are not prevalent in my experience.

@ElTell0 post screenshots of the scores (blackout player names) and the death screens which shows the player distance. Some shotguns have ridiculous distances (for Shotguns).

I am somewhere in the S100's and have been suspect of maybe 3-4 players since launch.

Wallhacks are pointless, you are basically spotted 99% of the time by someone or something. The minimap looks like a Christmas tree.

You are more than likely feeling the effects of a terrible crossplay netcode and server client desync.

@Adamonic Wallhacks are not pointless. They are still a massive advantage. Sure there is spotting. But you aren't spotted even close to 99% of the time. This is an exaggeration. Especially if you aren't playing close quarter style. If you have ESP/Wallhack, then entire battlefield is spotted. and they draw colored line-of-sight lines. ESP/Walhack gives you 100% enemy locations all of the time. It's nigh-and-day difference. Comments like these are disingenous and you know it.

I have not spotted any cheating from my pov but have noticed some rubber banding here and there where I won't see the person who shot me right away.

I have seen a couple of suspicious players, but only very few. Some players with exceptionally game-sense, like constantly pre-firing around corners/cover and knowing where enemies where, in uncanny ways.
Yesterday there was a guy going 104-10 (or like that) and lots of people complained in the chat, this while playing Exodus Conquest, which normally is not possible.
But in general the 'netcode' is awful and half your deaths feels like getting shot by a cheater.
