For many players, engaging with Battlefield feels akin to stepping into a personalized narrative, blending the immersion of a book or film with the freedom to roleplay as themselves or a distinct character. The introduction of Specialists enhances gameplay dynamics, offering diverse strategies and playstyles. However, the emergence of identical characters poses a jarring inconsistency, unlike movies where such duplication is implausible. To preserve immersion, DICE could assign generic codenames and backstories to Specialists, preventing duplicate appearances within a single round. This adjustment ensures each Specialist maintains a unique identity, enriching the game's believability and sustaining the fantasy that players eagerly seek to inhabit.
