@AOD_CapStar362 then the nightbird rocket pods should turn infantry into gibs right? and 7.62 miniguns as well, it should only take one bullet to rip a soldier apart?

@SpudBug i very much know about balancing. but the issue at play here is the spawn system.
as i said in numerous replies prior. the fact that players know exactly where a vehicle will spawn and the fact that the player controlling said vehicle has no reaction time from actual spawn to actual control input gives the TOR for those who do sit in places almost impossible to kill or attack them unless a highly coordinated event occurs.
Lets not forget the TOR is actually very weak on its defenses. it has a crew of 2, rather than 1 driver with the main gun and a secondary, 2 other gunners with various types of weaponry and a dedicated spotter of the T28 and the M1A5. you get 1 driver and 1 gunner who has 1 gun and a disrupter EMP shot.
i love the TOR, i have a very good kill rate with it, because i understand tank tactics at a level WELL outside of gaming, and i apply those very thoroughly. ive run complete circles around nearly every map - ive been killed and i kill with it.
balancing is not the issue, and i used the physics of a typical railgun system to portray why the TOR is the way it is.
the core issue is base spawns need to be protected. You are hyperbole misinterpreting my comment.
