Getting frustrated trying to win gunfights (dying too much)

Hey gang...so I've been playing Battlefield since BF4 (got BF3 later) and am sort of enjoying BF2042 so far...some of the game I like and some I don't, with bugs and some really mind-boggling design ...

The damage drop in distance of rifles and the bullet spread of light machineguns are too bad right now , at less those beginner's guns without upgrade .
