Positioning is king. Nothing is more important than that. Put yourself in winning position and you’ll be rewarded for it. You don’t need amazing sim or anything. I don’t particularly have the best recoil control, because I play low sensitivity, so I set up my guns to compensate for that. I use easy to handle guns.
You’re going to have bad games. There’s quite a bit of luck with your team. If the team is unable to put pressure on the enemy, it can feel like you’re constantly in a 1vX situation. Doesn’t matter how good you are.
Play to survive. Try playing for a while without just trying to get kills. See how long you can stay alive. If you exchange fire with someone and neither of you died, rotate, and heal up. Once you’re able to survive better, start working on getting kills. So it takes you longer to go 5-1 than others, who cares?
I just don’t like hearing someone feel defeated. I hate that feeling myself more than anything.
@RaginSamThanks, but honestly, I don't feel defeated at all. To me, BF and COD are just mindless fun.
I don't transpose any of my gaming related experiences (whether they be good ones or bad) onto my feelings of self-worth. Besides, I spent plenty of years passed where I was on top of the gaming leader boards, winning my fair share of tournaments and basically kickin' it :-)
These days I actually enjoy my time gaming much more than I did back then, now that I just play for fun and don't take it seriously, because my online friendships have vastly improved over those days since now my friends and I play alongside each other on the same team against the bots, instead of against each other, as it used to be a long time ago.
I love PvE, as I have found it to be a MUCH healthier lifestyle and allows me to have more fun now than I used to when I was a PvP'er.
- RaginSam4 years agoSeasoned Ace@BigShottt That’s awesome. I’ve been getting into flying simulators and drones more again lately. It really is nice not worrying about being competitive or feeling wronged by hit reg or whatever. Glad to hear you’re enjoying gaming more than ever!

@RaginSamBig time into both MSFS and X-Plane myself! have been for around 30 years now. I use a Honeycomb setup for that. Back in the day I used to play some Falcon 4.0 but that was ages ago. I also enjoy some open world car games.
I've also recently gotten into VR, which was sort of mind-blowing :-).
