@BigShottt I disagree with being to old to be competitive. Sure, you’re not going to have the same reflexes as 20 year olds or younger, but maybe you never did in the first place? I’m not directing that at you, just like a self reflection for anyone. Know your strengths and weaknesses and work off of that. YouTubers and Twitch streamers always give advice to play ultra aggressive, but that’s because they’re entertaining an audience and play the game all day long. That was a long way of saying find a style that suits you.
Positioning is king. Nothing is more important than that. Put yourself in winning position and you’ll be rewarded for it. You don’t need amazing sim or anything. I don’t particularly have the best recoil control, because I play low sensitivity, so I set up my guns to compensate for that. I use easy to handle guns.
You’re going to have bad games. There’s quite a bit of luck with your team. If the team is unable to put pressure on the enemy, it can feel like you’re constantly in a 1vX situation. Doesn’t matter how good you are.
Play to survive. Try playing for a while without just trying to get kills. See how long you can stay alive. If you exchange fire with someone and neither of you died, rotate, and heal up. Once you’re able to survive better, start working on getting kills. So it takes you longer to go 5-1 than others, who cares?
I just don’t like hearing someone feel defeated. I hate that feeling myself more than anything.

Good advice.
I mainly use the NTW 50 and often play just like that.
I get an immense amount of satisfaction surviving for long periods of the round without dying. Running for cover and basically hiding is essential against most players who are using SMGs and ARs. They will easily kill me if I stick around.
Its why I conquest, every round I can create my own personal 'single-player' adventure. It's like I'm playing Far Cry 2!
