I feel the exact same way you do, so you’re not alone. I’m 45, been playing video games since the Atari. I really enjoy playing BF2042, but the same happens with me. I try and move the map slowly and strategically, get instakilled. Try to move more, get instakilled. I often get the drop on another play, start shooting and they instantly turn around and smoke me. It’s incredibly frustrating to lose most gun battles even when I have first shot.
Though this is from September Ill jump in and add I feel like its been off again in most gun battles as of late
