@RaginSamJumping, sliding etc. is a way of “putting further pressure” on the already poor hit registration in the game and get an unfair advantage that way. Not every time, but many times. That’s my suspicion / impression anyway.
What’s more, IMO you’re abusing the fact that the control settings in Battlefield can be a bit complex at first glance. Basically, as you know, it’s set up so one has an easier time targetting enemies that are “on the same height” as you. So people that are above you or below you are harder to target default. This fact, combined with jumping down from above towards an enemy, means you are not only likely to get an advantage because the netcode “can’t keep up”, but you’re also likely to get an advantage if your opponent has a harder time moving his crosshair up/down than left/right.
You can say “But that’s a skill issue then” - well, you can call it what you want. I call it super cheesy way of taking advantage of how the movement settings are by default + taking advantage of how some, perhaps even many, people do not adjust the settings for this because it can seem like a pretty daunting task.
