Grenade throwback is actually in the game!

Question

We all know some people want the grenade throwback (amongst other things like leaning) to be added to the game.

Which brings me to the following post. I noticed yesterday, that for Sundance's "scatter" grenades can be thrown back by a player. Interestingly, this is not the case for standard loadout grenades, so I would like to ask. What the heck? Is it a feature stripped out of the game which someone forgot to remove/disable for Sundance's "scatter" grenades? Is it a feature not fully implemented yet or is it meant to be implemented as it is, just for some of the grenades?

@RamboThe1 Actually it’s a forum where the other players can try and provide answers. In the early days we might get a dev to comment but that’s not happened for a while. So many posts happen that sometimes one can get lost like this one obviously did. The answer is that all grenades can be thrown back, but the timing is super hard and the grenades can be tough to see. You’re better off running, but if you’re stuck you can still try. I think it’s E when the grenade is in reach.
