It's rather hard to believe there won't be some kind of menu which give a slight delay. Similar to attachment changes in PUBG.
@zenn_nme
I take it you're talking about the Inventory screen? I myself wouldn't call that a delay at all, unless PUBG corp. changed something in the last week on Xbox.
- 5 years ago@Popa2caps It's a disadvantage. Time spent looking at something else makes you vulnerable.

Sorry I should have stated this in my first comment. I do agree it takes time to open the inventory screen to change attachments, I'm just not sure it was designed this way intentionally by PUGB Corp. developers. I say that because one can change weapons (from the ground) with all equipped attachments currently with no loss or delay.The whole idea of this feature is a risk assessment, or two (million). I see how DICE might have came up with the idea (to give players more freedom), but I'm sure there are facts about how it functions I still know nothing about, so everything I think is per-speculation.
I like the idea of being able to change attachments on the fly, it will just lead to more epic moments. I'm 100% percent sure it will also lead to people abusing it somehow lol
DICE might have also done it to save points during gameplay to be honest over my first thought of freedom for the user and/ or both. A lot of new players like to die just to change gear, so this could also be a way to save tickets.
- 5 years ago@Popa2caps Yeah. For some reason, BF4 wouldn't "save" I played recon last round, switch me to assault between rounds, and that's pretty much a wasted ticket in my case
- zenn_nme5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Popa2caps Yeah going into inventory, swap out scope, closing inventory. What does that take a second, 2 seconds, more?
Though personally I think you have to live with the consequences of your set loadout, unless you die so you can change it before respawn...
