@No1StingerUserUKThats very interesting. I looked up some old beta footage and indeed. It looked pretty good and realistic, but I do understand the complaints. It was nothing more than a visual gimmick as bullet impact was still fully randomized. This desync is most likely what made it feel floaty and stuff. Especially when shooting longer ranges I can imagine.
I still think it can work fantastically when everything is synced up, the crosshair, bullet impact and laser sights etc. Just like real life.
Again, please don’t hate me for it, but MW19 is a good example that proved this works and I think they did a phenomenal job at making the recoil look and function very convincingly.
