The game has been out a while, you should have done your research first. There is a long post on this subject here and it has gone unanswered by EA/DICE so don't get your hopes up.

Gryo aiming is much faster and more precise than aiming with analogue sticks. It bridges the significant gap that exists between controllers and mouse control, and gives console gamers a level of precision that can't be achieved with traditional control options. None of the Battlefield games have Gyro Aim (sadly).
But for the love of god I hope EA starts actually considering it and not ignoring many players who ask for it. Not exactly a small community anymore that uses it. And BF games are freaking PERFECT for it's implementation. Works great for the variety of ranges of engagement along with the crossplay between PC and console. The other aspect is that you get a combination of joystick and mouse-aim for handling vehicles. The joystick is much better for driving but you can still have precise and quick aim for turrets with Gyro aim.
Hopefully the devs start realizing the evolutionary benefits of it. And if you need examples, we'll theres tons now on youtube. A lot of people post each day now of games such as Valorant, CoD, Apex, Overwatch, etc etc. Again, not exact a small community anymore.
I feel you on that. That’s why pc has pin point accuracy. Controllers just can’t compete with pc regarding aiming.

It's simply mimicking mouse-input to an extent. So its not better than mouse if that's what you're wondering. Gyro Aim does not get access to Aim Assist in any game because it does not need it.
Here are some examples (you can find tons of videos of people using it online):

And here is a list (not fully complete) of PS4 and PS5 games that have added it:
