And what other ways would be best to provide feedback to indicate preferences? I'm involved in many hardcore communities for BF (since BF3 but a lot of it focused on BF4), when I bring it up with people, pretty much everyone agrees with all my points, however, for most people even those who play more than average, its just a game and they have very little interest in even bothering to come to this forum to post their thoughts.
I intend on taking up your suggestion to create a twitter account (urgh - why do I need some silly twitter account instead of using the actual EA login/forum... another seperate issue but whatever) and bringing some suggestions to the dev you mentioned, and linking to this thread after its had some time to 'marinate' with other ideas/feedback from the community.
It kind of feels like the development is done in some isolation without regard to the people actually playing (not just hardcore fans, but look at the broader issues and complaints and reception of this game even...), so while I really want to see this become something super fun, I have some serious doubts that any suggestions or feedback will ever be heard or seriously listened to.
I can't think of any other way unfortunately. I like the idea of linking this thread though and tagging people like @BattlefieldCom, @Justin Wiebe, etc. Maybe they will respond or maybe they won't. They could ignore it and then again, they could also read the feedback and take it to heart even if they don't provide a reply. Doesn't hurt to try though.
If you really feel strongly about it, I would also post it up on Reddit as well. Again, another one of those social media sources a lot of companies look to for community feedback. I frequent https://www.reddit.com/r/BattlefieldPortal/new/ for Portal ideas, etc.

Couldn't have timed this better. Look at the Tweet Justin just posted in response to someone pointing out milsim Experience. This might be a good opportunity to respond with your own asking for more hardcore friendly options:

Thanks for the heads up. I made a twitter just so I could reply and link in this thread for those suggestions.
