Harsh remarks can impact a developers mental health
I know it's for a different game but what he is saying can be said for the way I see the developers being treated on this board and other places. Makes me ashamed to be a gamer.

What’s mesly 40$ or 100$ to us isn’t to other people. They were expecting something different from what was promised. this isn’t a mass hysteria.. you guys really need to get off that train. it’s a poorly designed and executed product. I personally played battlefield2042 for I would say about 2 hours over a week periods of time. I decided this game wasn’t for me. I disliked the changes, the gameplay problems and crashing etc. I called in and was denied a refund. Doesn’t that seem odd to you at all? I own every other battlefield game. Never have I requested a refund for battlefield games. I’ve enjoyed them all up until this one. I will continue to check in on updates once and awhile,but the amount I paid for the lack of entertainment and disappointment is not justified. I would like to see changes to their great game policy… that needs to be done because it’s unfair to the customers with a life.
it’s people who just aren’t happy with the product and just want their money back… if they released a game as good as the past battlefields we wouldn’t be in this situation. The game isn’t bad to you but it is to the majority of its player base which shows there’s a problem. I’m glad you enjoy the game but just remember others see it differently.

Game runs fine needs some tweaks for sure but if you can’t crank it yank it 😉 - @k1u73 it runs fine for me too, but I have not played it since before Christmas because I got tired of the crappy changes. It isn't battlefield anymore, idk what it is. I know I can't get a refund, so I am just waiting to see the next few patch notes in hopes they bring back all the battlefield Mechanics.

It’s ok not to like a game or not get what you expected even with the hype and be disappointed. I have just the same with another game I played and competed in leagues etc. for many years. But time passes us by.
What was the player base prior to 2042? Was new players buying and playing?
Those are important questions. Games die it’s a fact. - @CantGetRight You know this is what created some of the issues during development. Developers tried to tell upstairs that the game was bad but the response they got was that they might hurt the game designer feelings by giving that kind of response, so it's was archived and swept under the carpet. This happend several times and that is some of the reasons why alot of the developers left the studio. "Creative restrictions, not being listened to, or just ignored"
People need to be able to take in critisism.
It is like the designers went with blinders on and didn't get any real critisism. Testers must surely have seen that this game sucked during development. And they did, and they did try to tell the studio.
I don't know if this is a woke thing or what.
But constructive critique should always be welcome.

No one should be posting death threats or abuse to people, but saying you hate a game and listing reasons why is not the same as giving death threats or abuse.
There are people on this board who are determined to equate the two so that they can dismiss all complaints as being toxic, it's actually rather pathetic.- @CantGetRight there is a limit to what can be said i agree. death-threats and stuff like that are a no go and they are heavily policed almost everywhere. now the working-bee devs are more or less powerless they are beign told what is to be done, developed or shelved.
now should we sugarcoat everything we say? no i think not this game is more dissapointing then anyone ever feared it would be and the reasons are differetn but over all i think the vast majority of people enaging in forums are mroe or less dissapointed.
DICE screwed up again and EA/DICE-Management should rightly be ashamed but these people do not care one bit if you are dissatified or not.
and if you think game-devs are having it rough try working as a first responder, i did for 6 years and i can attest there is worse then a twitter troll messaging
