I will wait until I can play the open Beta. I'm pretty sure I will buy, but I don't see any reason to give my money to EA 6-8 weeks before I can play the game. Hopefully, I will be playing this game for years - a couple of weeks isn't going to make a difference either way.

I'm still trying to decide if I should buy an Xbox or PlayStation 5 to play BF2042 on. I'll wait for Digital Foundry's performance analysis and see how easy it is to disable crossplay on each system.

Xbox's VRR and 1440p resolution has me jelly though. 🍓🍇🍒

    I might have pre-ordered if only DICE hadn’t added those so-called specialists instead of the 4 regular classes.

    I think it ruins BF2042 for me unfortunately.

    Hopefully BF Portal will be “normal Battlefield”. If so, I will buy the game. But no pre-order, I think.

    @OskooI_007 You mean digital fraudry that's pretty much had one sided bias reviews for the most part? Lol. Also I've heard nothing about being able to disable crossplay with other games on xbox.
