Hi DICE/EA. I had a really good time with the battlefield 2042 beta but could I please just say are you planning to change the controls for the helis and jets for the launch? The reason I am asking is because I really enjoyed how the helis played and I actually played well with them. I just am a bit worried that you will completely change the controls and how the helis will handle come launch. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DICE keep the how the helis handle and don't change a thing? Thank you

on which platform are u playing ?? i am playing on Console (xbox one x and now on deries x)As an old Bf3/Bf4 veteran on console i am realy pissed about the controlls of helicopters because the switched two settings I dont know why we need in every BF game new settings to play the game.If u want the old settings u needer to set it on "alternative" but it got changed.How it should be :BF3/BF4 Left stick :(left/right) Roll Right Stick:(up/down) Nod (left/right) Yaw In BF2042 its like thisLeft stick:(left/right) YawRight Stick:(up/down) Nod (left/right) Roll

I personally would like the controls from BF4 we had for choppers and jets. Movement could need some adjustments tho. Greets, Travis

Well only time will tell, I do hope joystick controls are properly implemented.

@alexironhide1997 we don't know yet if they'll do a complete change on the settings again but there is a possibility it can happen as many people (aka Battlefield veterans) are used to different controls for flying. But i guess the changes we might get are simply the changes to be able to change controls yourself by the given presets. Like changing from "default" to like "veteran" on certain controls and we all should good to go with the right changes. I don't think they will do this type of changes that we all have to stick with only one single possibility to control it. Greets, Travis

I personally think dice really have to tweak the physics. The helicopters feel just too arcady.
hope they literally copy them over from bf4 tbh

I can't believe that it hasn't been done already. It makes no sense at all that battlefield veterans can't select the classic/legacy controls for helis.
I completely understand introducing the new controls for new players to feel comfortable with flying. But that's no reason to remove the option for the classic controls.
You had so much more freedom with the classic controls and if you put in the time to learn how to fly with those controls, it opened many more options for how to play. They should absolutely add the option to change controls back to the classic setting and I can't believe it's even a discussion. JUST GIVE US THE OPTION!

@Lerdog21Even the controls are made right the physics are still so dumbed down on them it won't matter, they will still handle like crap from what we are used to.

They really messed up the physics of everything in this game.
