FLIR was significantly more advantageous than splash was. Esp once dummies like those complaining in this thread about them being op actually started using cover
The summary of this thread was that the main issue was heli's sitting bombarding from ceiling.
Which is fair however on MOST objectives there is cover you can use to avoid it, that being said having a round velocity drop or have a weird spread happen after projectiles travel x distance in vertical could fix that issue.
The rest of the things mentioned here as a justification can be chalked up to "I refuse to use the counters to something in game that are available to me so instead ill complain something is OP"
