Just extend the reach of the ground AA and give jets some plane only slots. Problem solved
They could also buff the jet cannons for a good measure
On last gen where the gunners are aiming using unassisted joysticks I don't really find the Condor/Hinds to be a problem.
Sure I die to transports from time to time, but I feel like my experience is vastly different compared to the PC/next gen players.
In general I think heli's are only OP in the hands of the top 5% of pilots. Any nerfs should be targeted towards those players. Perhaps a cap of 8-16 flares or cap of 400% damage repaired.

- 4 years ago@AngrySquid270 condon/hind has one 50 cal problem. Remove it and we are golden. Ppl won't just sit there and jump out and transport will be transport first and not flying oblitarating tank.

I could handle having an RTB system. Also, I saw in another thread a suggestion of hard point AA around the map. That might help keep pilots honest as well. I wouldn't say I am in the top 5% of pilots but it is super easy to cruise on to a point with the Hind/Condor, devastate the infantry real quick, and fly off before taking that final hit. Only after you crush their spirits a few times do you encounter 20 AA rockets lol.

i only play breakthrough, i've settled into using Rao on sectors that the helo is a problem and just keeping the transports hacked. seems to really * up their groove. i can keep them hacked most of the time they are near an objective (if they don't run they die, if they do run they aren't causing problems). it works really well on exposure 64 BT on sectors A and C. get good exp doing it too

LOL people referring to 50mm as a .50cal has been driving me nuts too.
