Why do you go quiet? I mean, I do understand that you can't share anything until you are close to done with like say an update, a patch, and things like that. But why do you go really really "where on the dark side of the moon" - quiet?For instance, the specialist feedback loop. Ok, things didn't go as planned. So why not just go out and say "Hi, sorry guys. It will take some more time than estimated. Hang in there. We'll share everything when we're closer.." or something like that. It can't be that hard? Say something, it doesn't even have to have some kind of substance. Just be like.. human I guess?And when you guys are closer to sharing info about upcoming updates and whatnot, you do that. But until that, just say something. You can start to try with a "Hi..."

@Hezek1yah That's their job... literally get paid to communicate between the devs and the community. I agree that many take it way too far, some comments are just straight up gross. But that absolutely does not allow Dice CMs to just not do their job. Like I said, the toxicity would have gone down if they communicated like humans from the start.Then you leave comments like this:"I'm not your brother. Nor am I going to read your comment. Take your complaints and invalidation elsewhere."Get off your high horse and stop acting like a child. Grow up, touch grass.

Lot of companies go the Apple route. Tight lipped. They figured it’s the best way. They can’t satisfy everyone anyway. You have to have good products though to go this way. Even Apple speaks out if there is a problem. They apologize and fix and stay tight lipped again. We all know that EA is aware of their products shortcomings. Action speaks louder than words. Hope they fix things and provide content soon. That’s all they can do at this point. No sense working on the next title until this one is fixed and will have a proper life cycle with content. People still want to play this game. Me too. I enjoy it. Slow down the cycle, release a finished proper product and provide new content quarterly. I would even pay every 3 months for 4 new maps like in the BF3 days. It was awesome. I will never ever pay for cosmetics though.

Yeah I liked the Premium Passes when you got a minimum of 4 new maps / weapons etc every 3 months. guaranteed, no mystery.

I much prefer it to the Live Service we have today that's for sure.

Best I can figure...
DICE is even more of an internal mess than previously, maybe as a result of them retooling processes because Vince is having to remind them that videogames should be fun.
This really is a hilarious, sad, pathetic, state of affairs for a AAA studio 7 months post-launch for their most recent release in a franchise they've run for 20 years.
I'm hoping they've got insane things in the works they're just not talking about...because if the result of all this silence, of abandoning communications and not living up to their commitments to improve communication (another lie, I guess), is just "standard updates" then like...good freakin lord the old DICE we used to know and love is well and truly dead.
I don't even know what having 3-4 CM's working on this game do all day, because it's absolutely not communicating or engaging with the community.

They can. They just choose not to. It's gotten so bad that we're literally only hearing info about updates the day they go live.
